A demonstration in Basra demanding a change in the route of the railway link project between Iraq and Iran

Dozens of residents of the four island regions, affiliated with the Shatt al-Arab district, demonstrated in protest against the route of the railway link project between Iraq and Iran. The demonstrators, who gathered in front of the house of the head of the provincial council, demanded changing the route of the line, which will extend from the Shalamcheh border crossing to the center of Basra, because of the damage they suffered from it.
