Gaza: Medical sources reported that 63 Palestinian citizens were martyred since dawn on Thursday due to Israeli shelling in various areas of the Gaza Strip. The attacks have intensified, causing significant casualties and distress among the residents.
According to Qatar News Agency, the victims include 28 citizens who were waiting for humanitarian aid in the central and southern parts of the region. The dire situation is exacerbated by the ongoing blockade, which has limited access to essential services and resources for the Palestinian population.
Israeli artillery targeted a gathering of citizens at the western roundabout in Beit Lahia, located in the north of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of three individuals. This incident was reported by the Palestinian (WAFA) news agency and adds to the growing list of casualties amid the conflict.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli entity has launched a comprehensive military operation on the Gaza Strip. This aggression has resulted in more than 188,000 martyrs and wounded, with a significant number being children and women. Additionally, over 11,000 individuals are reported missing. The ongoing conflict has also led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people and a famine that has claimed numerous lives, including children.
The situation remains critical, with urgent calls for humanitarian intervention and a ceasefire to prevent further loss of life and alleviate the suffering of the affected populations.
