6.6-Magnitude Earthquake Struck off Western Australia

Doha: A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck off on Wednesday the southwest coast of Western Australia: The US Geological Survey (USGS) said in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 1966 km from Augusta town, at a depth of 10 km.

According to Qatar News Agency, there have been no reports of casualties or material losses due to the earthquake so far. No tsunami warning was issued.
