Al-Amara, The security forces in Maysan arrested 5 defendants wanted for various crimes and seized weapons and equipment during a security operation carried out in Qalat Saleh district and Al-Uzair district.
The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement, a copy of which was received by the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “The defendants’ crimes varied between threats and premeditated murder, inciting tribal conflicts, and carrying unlicensed weapons,” noting that all the defendants and the seized items were duly referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures against them.
