17 Countries Participate in 14th International Cultural Festival of Symphonic Music in Algeria

Algiers: The 14th International Cultural Festival of Symphonic Music will commence in Algeria from April 17 to 23, with participation from 17 countries, featuring Venezuela as the guest of honor.

According to Qatar News Agency, Director of the International Cultural Festival of Symphonic Music, Abdelkader Bouazara, announced at a press conference that Algeria will transform into the global hub for symphonic music for a week. Approximately 300 musicians are set to deliver exceptional performances at the Algiers Opera House, as well as in the cities of Oran and Kolea.

Bouazara highlighted that Venezuela, the guest of honor for this edition, will be represented by an orchestra of 50 musicians under the baton of Maestro Luis Montas. They are scheduled to perform alongside the Algiers Opera Symphony Orchestra. The festival will also see symphony orchestras from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, including countries such as Italy, Austria, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Syria, Tunisia, Egypt, South Africa, and
Mexico.
