Gaza city: At least 15 Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Thursday in new airstrikes and bombardments carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that four members of the same family were martyred and others wounded when their home on Al-Zawiya Street in Gaza City was hit. Two more people were martyred and others injured in a drone strike near Sheikh Radwan Clinic in the north.
Another two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli strike near Al-Azhar junction west of the city, while injuries were reported after warplanes targeted a house in Al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
In northern Gaza, three civilians were killed and others wounded when Israeli strikes hit a group of people near Halima Al-Saadiya School in Jabalia Al-Nazla. Al-Awda Hospital also confirmed the death of one person after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on civilians near an aid distribution point on Salah Al-Din Street in Wadi Gaza, central Gaza Strip.
Further south, a Palestinian succumbed to injuries sustained in an earlier strike on Khan Younis, while a woman and a child were martyred when Israeli occupation forces opened fire on displaced people from tents in Asdaa area northwest of the city.
The latest attacks bring the provisional toll of Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, to 62,966 killed and 159,266 wounded.
