The UAE delegation attended the sixth day of high-level meetings on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Today, His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, joined a ministerial-level meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement.
For his part, H.E. Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with H.E. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi. His Excellency also held productive discussions with several ministers, including H.E. Awatif Altidjani Ahmed Koiboro, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad of the Republic of Chad, and H.E. Dhoihir Dhoulkamal, Foreign Minister of the Comoros.
In addition, H.E. Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan met with H.E. Abdoulaye Diop, Foreign Minister of Mali, and H.E. General Odongo Jeje Abubakhar, Foreign Minister of Uganda. He also met with H.E. Ambassador Bankole Adeoye, African Union Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace, and Security.
