Turkish President arrives in Doha on an official visit

Istanbul Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived today, Monday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, on an official visit to participate in the seventh meeting of the Supreme Strategic Committee between the two countries.

Erdogan is accompanied on his visit to Doha by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavusoglu, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Trade Mehmet Mus, Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, Health Fahrettin Koca, Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, in addition to Head of the Presidency Communication Department Fahrettin Altun, and Head of the Defense Industries Corporation in the Presidency Ismail Demir Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin, and Head of Religious Affairs Ali Arbash.

It is expected that 12 agreements will be signed between Turkey and Qatar during the meeting of the seventh session of the Joint Higher Strategic Committee between the two countries, which is scheduled to start its work tomorrow, Tuesday

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad are scheduled to hold a bilateral summit to be held after the end of the current session’s meetings, which will address the Palestinian issue, developments in Syria and the Afghan file.
