The Secretary-General of the UAE Football Federation and the Vice-President of the Kuwaiti Football Federation arrived to Basra

Baghdad, The Iraqi Football Association announced today, Sunday, the arrival of the Secretary-General of the UAE Federation, Muhammad bin Hazam Al Dhaheri, and the Vice President of the Kuwaiti Federation, Ahmed Oqla, to Basra Governorate.

The Federation said in a statement: “The Secretary-General of the UAE Football Association, Vice-Chairman of the Competitions Committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation, Mohammed bin Hazam Al Dhaheri,” arrived in Basra, accompanied by committee members Ahmed Al-Harmi from Qatar and Khalid bin Muqrin from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and members The Media Committee for the 25th Gulf Cup: Salem Al-Naqbi from the UAE, Faisal bin Yousef Al-Tuwaiher from Saudi Arabia, and Moaz Al-Khamisi from Yemen.

He added, “The visit aims to attend the events of the Khaleeji 25 draw, which will be held the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Basra,” noting that “the Secretary-General of the Iraqi Football Association, Muhammad Farhan, was in the reception of the delegation.”

The Federation added, “The delegation of the Kuwaiti Football Association arrived today, to attend the events of the draw for the Gulf 25.”

He stressed that “the delegation consists of Vice President of the Kuwait Football Association Ahmed Oqla, Board Member Abdulaziz Al-Samhan, Secretary General Salah Al-Qena’i, Director of Media and Public Relations Sattam Al-Sahli, as well as national team manager Saud Al-Majmad, former referee Muhammad Bagh, and former player Jamal Mubarak, And the director of the union, Muhammad Ali Saif.”
