Dubai- The Qatari national team qualified to the semi-finals of the GCC U-18 Basketball Championship in the United Arab Emirates after beating Bahrain 63-47 on Sunday.
This tournament bringing together six GCC nations, including hosts United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.
Qatar national team player Mohamed Nado scored 18 points to receive the award for the best player of the match, for the second time after being crowned with the award in the first round against Kuwait national team.
In the semifinals to be held on Tuesday, Qatar will take on Saudi Arabia while UAE will shake hands with Oman.
