SHRARA is a new winner for Al Rabban Racing

The two-year-old filly SHRARA (IRE) (Dandy Man x Mitzi Winks), in the colours of Al Rabban Racing, broke her maiden on second time of asking in fine style winning the Toalsbet Phone Betting Available 7 Days EBF Stallions Maiden Stakes at Chepstow racecourse, UK on Tuesday, 21 July. Running over six furlongs for trainer Ralph Beckett, she raced quite keenly up near the pace. Settling into her stride after the first two furlongs, the bay filly traveled easily before pulling clear of her rivals in the final furlong to win by a length. Ridden by Rob Hornby, who just gave her gentle encouragement, SHRARA won the race comfortably. Genuflex (GB) (Holy Roman Emperor x Gravitation) was the runner-up. He is trained by Richard Hannon and was ridden by Rossa Ryan. SHOBIZ (GB) (Showcasing x Royal Confidence) was further one and three-quarters lengths behind in third. He is trained by Charles Hills and was ridden by David Probert.

By Dandy Man, SHRARA was bought at Tattersalls Book 1 Yearling Sale. She is out of the LOOKIN AT LUCKY mare MITZI WINKS, who herself was also a winner at two.
