Qatar win skeet mixed team bronze at shooting World Cup

New Delhi-Qatar claimed the bronze medal of skeet mixed team event on the fifth day of the ISSF Shooting World Cup in New Delhi on Tuesday.

At the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range, the Qatari duo of Rashid Saleh and Reem Al Sharshani defeated India’s Mairaj Khan and Parinaaz Dhaliwal in the bronze medal match.

India’s Ganemat Sekhon and Angad Bajwa clinched the gold medal as they shot 33 to beat Kazhakstan’s Olga Panarina and Aleksandr Yechsenko who scored 29.

The mixed team skeet shooting was the sole event of the day, with the top from the morning’s qualification finishing in exactly the same order in the final two matches.
