Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange index fell by 0.16% at the beginning of trading Thursday, losing 18.27 points, thus falling to 11,169 points, compared to the previous session’s close, under pressure from four sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, QSE figures showed positive performance for the Consumer Goods and Services sector at 0.67%, the Industrial sector at 0.33%, and the Insurance sector at 0.08%. Meanwhile, the Telecommunications sector declined by 0.05%, the Transportation sector by 0.08%, the Real Estate sector by 0.19%, and the Banking and Financial Services sector by 0.24%.
At 10:00 AM, QSE recorded 3,064 transactions worth QR 78.813 million, distributed over 44.816 million shares.
