Copenhagen, Denmark, The Qatari handball team will take on their Egyptian counterparts on Sunday in their second match at the 2019 Men’s World Handball Championships.
Earlier on Friday, Qatar narrowly lost to Angola 24-23 in their opening Group D match.
In the match played at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena, Qatar trailed 12-8 at half time. Allaedine Berrached top-scored for Qatar with six goals while Rafael Capote and Youssef Ali scored four each. For Angola, Rome Hebo was the star, with seven goals, with Taca Gabriel adding five.
On the other hand, Egypt began their campaign in the championships with a 24-27 defeat at the hands of Sweden.
