Maronite Patriarch, Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi, kicked off on Thursday his pastoral visit to Qatar, where he was welcomed by Qatari Minister of Environment and Municipalities, Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al-Rumaihi.
Al-Rumaihi pointed out that the Lebanese community in Qatar, which is approximately between 25 and 30 thousand people, was an active community in the country. He also commended the efforts of the Lebanese community, and the Lebanese labor, saying that all has contributed to the development of a large number of factories, farms, and other various sectors.
“Our factories have contributed to increasing our production and have provided many jobs and brought vitality to our society.
