Saudi Arabia reports 2,613 new COVID-19 cases, 3,539 recoveries

Riyadh, Saudi Ministry of Health said in a statement here today that 2,613 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 245,851 cases, including 52,283 active cases undergoing treatment.


Of these, there are 2,188 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.


The Ministry of Health added that 37 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities at 2,407.


As many as 3,539 cases have recovered, raising the total recoveries to 191,161.


On the other hand, the total number of latest tests done, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stood at 65,549, according to the Ministry’s statement.
