Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has been internationally recognized for its quality performance by the UK’s accreditation body BEREAU VERITAS.
The international accreditations were granted for Qatar Post’s integrated management system, which included three ISO certifications in Quality Management System ISO9001, Environmental Management System ISO14001 and Health and Safety Management System ISO OHSAS 18001 Assessment Series.
The certificates have been awarded following a comprehensive and extensive external audit that demonstrated the compliance of Qatar Post to these three systems with recognized standards globally in accordance to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Faleh bin Mohammed al-Naemi, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post, hailed the three ISO certifications in quality standards as a first phase, clarifying that the scope of the audit process included the evaluation and measurement of Qatar Post’s capability to provide basic postal services, financial services, e-commerce and e-government services.
