MADLSA: SIX HOURS PER DAY WORK FOR PRIVATE SECTOR DURING RAMADAN

The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has called on companies and establishments to reduce working hours to six per day during the holy month of Ramadan.

The ministry said, in a statement, that it will receive complaints from employees of companies that are not implementing the provisions of the Labor Law through its various communication channels, including its hotline service, email, or the ministry’s accounts on social media.

The ministry also urged all employees and those working in companies not to hesitate to provide any information when their rights are trespassed, affirming that all complaints will be received with high concern and confidentiality.
