The United Arab Emirates is taking part in the “10th International Economic Summit Russia – the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2018”, which opened yesterday in Kazan, capital of Tatarstan, Russia, in the presence of Maadhad Hareb Mughair Al Khaili, UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation.
The Ministry of Economy organised the participation of the UAE delegation in the Summit which will conclude tomorrow. The delegation includes representatives of a number of government and private entities from the UAE, along with a number of officials and businessmen.
The 10th session of the Summit is attended by about 3,000 participants from more than 50 countries. The aim of the KazanSummit is to strengthen trade and economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation member countries.
Annually Kazan Summit has been gathering representatives of international organisations, public authorities, financial institutions, embassies, parliament deputies, leading investors and businessmen, top managers of Russian and foreign companies over the last ten years.
KazanSummit 2017 brought together 2641 participants from international organisations, federal and local authorities, financial institutions, embassies of 15 states, members of parliament, investors and businessmen, representing 53 country, and 250 journalists.
The key topic of KazanSummit 2018 will be “Halal Lifestyle”. The Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan find new ways of unlocking cooperation capacities with the Islamic world countries. An international platform for collaboration and joint project realisation has been created, as well as the economics and investment climate presentation opportunities of our country.
