Iraq And Iran Sign MoU For Border Cooperation

BAGHDAD, The Iranian border guards announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding on border cooperation with Iraq in Tehran.

This came during a meeting between the commander of the Iranian border guards Brigadier General Qassim Rezaei and his Iraqi counterpart, Lieutenant General Hamed Abdullah Al-Husseini and his accompanying delegation.

“The two sides discussed issues related to the common border and signed a memorandum of understanding on border cooperation between the two countries,” the official IRNA news agency reported.
