Ali Salim Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Morocco, met yesterday in Rabat with Habib El Malki, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco.
During the meeting, they discussed the historic relations and the importance of enhancing them between the two countries.
Al Kaabi said that in implementation to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the UAE is keen on developing strategic cooperation level with Morocco, increasing the Emirati investments volume in Morocco, diversifying the economic and trade relations and exchanging expertise, which will positively affect the interests of both countries.
Al Kaabi also extended his heartfelt condolence to El Malki on the victims of train derailment near Rabat.
Saif Khalifa Al-Taniji, First Secretary at the UAE Embassy in Rabat, attended the meeting.
