H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, have toured the ‘Historical Documentary Exhibition’ held on the sidelines of Bahrain Embassy celebrations of the Kingdom’s 47th National Day and the King of Bahrain’s Accession to the Throne.
The exhibition included dozens of historical photos that focused on the relations between the leaders and peoples of the two brotherly countries, reflecting the depth of these relations – which were established since the founders’ era – and have been strengthened under the leadership of both countries.
The exhibition presented aspects of the long-standing relations between the two countries since the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The National Archive participated with the Bahrain Embassy in its celebrations to give this occasion an important historical dimension as the UAE-Bahrain relationship has become a distinctive example of the brotherly relationship.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Bahrain to UAE Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Ali bin Hamad Al Khalifa, said, “We highly value the role of the National Archives in preserving the history and heritage of the UAE and the Gulf region for generations.”
“We are honoured to celebrate national and historical events, and we are proud that the relations between the two brotherly countries are progressing and flourishing at various levels, and it is based on strong foundations of love, harmony, cohesion, and common destiny, and it is nurtured by the wisdom and vision of the UAE and Bahrain,” he concluded
