Baghdad, The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, affirmed that “the experience of the State of Qatar in hosting the 2022 World Cup is an important addition to the region,” once again “the support of the Iraqi parliament to the Qatari Shura Council in all international forums.”
A statement by the media office of the First Deputy of Parliament said, “Al-Mandalawi arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, at the official invitation of Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Chairman of the Qatari Shura Council, to attend meetings that include a number of senior parliamentary officials.”
The First Deputy stressed, “during his meeting with the Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, the importance of relations at all levels between the two countries, as well as coordinating common positions in regional and international forums, including the files presented in the Arab Parliament.”
