The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the former Prime Minister and head of the leadership council of the National State Forces Alliance, Haider al-Abadi, developments in the political scene in Iraq and upcoming events.
Al-Hakim renewed, according to a statement by his office, his support for Al-Sudani government in implementing its service program, calling for completing preparations for the upcoming local elections.
Al-Hakim stressed the importance of keeping the local elections within their service framework, calling for competition on the basis of service and development programs that take into account the urgent needs of the governorates.
Al-Hakim stressed the need to pass laws that are in direct contact with the citizen and laws that complete the structure of the political system and perpetuate the current stability and transform it into a permanent one.
