4.9-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Southern Panama

An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck on Thursday Veraguas province, southern Panama The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the quake occurred at 364 km from Arenas in the province, at a depth of 10 km.

No tsunami warnings were issued and there have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far.
